If art of rally is the Dirt Rally of isometric racers, Star Drift Evolution is those monster truck rallycross segments in Dirt 2. I like arcade racers but this is a little too loose and chaotic for me. Combine this with track design that loves to throw you off the track and flip you over, and you have a recipe for frustration. The driving model is pretty good, but the AI dedicates its life to fucking you over and any sort of collision with other cars, which is often out of your control, destabilizes your car a great deal. Star Drift Evolution, on the other hand, is basically a demolition derby at times. Not so difficult that you hate your life but dangerous enough that you really need to know the courses and your car. art of rally is a sublime rallying experience, surprisingly realistic and deep. Testers have also reported that their wheel (Thrustmaster T150 in this case) worked after manually mapping the buttons correctly, however, wheel support can not be guaranteed for all wheels.Fun enough game, but people comparing this to art of rally (which comes up often in the Steam reviews) are setting expectations way too high.
